East Rochester man charged with second-degree murder

A 51-year-old East Rochester man has been charged with second-degree murder.

Police tell News10NBC James McIntosh and another man were involved in an altercation at a location on West Commercial Street late Sunday night. Investigators say the altercation led to a stabbing and the victim died from a stab wound to the chest.

Police have not released the victim’s identity at this time.

McIntosh is being held in the Monroe County Jail without bail.
