Bus monitor accused of sexually abusing a girl takes plea deal

The bus monitor accused of sexually abusing a young girl has taken a plea deal.
Robert Hoff, 61, of Rochester, pleaded guilty in court Tuesday to one count of first-degree sexual abuse. Hoff inappropriately touching a nine-year-old who is autistic and unable to speak. The abuse happened on a Monroe Transportation bus.
As part of his plea deal, Hoff will spend six months in jail and serve 10 years probation. He will also be required to register as a sex offender. He will be sentenced in September.
