Long Acre Farm in Macedon is embarking on another fall season as an agri-tainment destination. They have found ways to turn their farms into tourist destinations in order to stay afloat.
At Long Acre, that meant building a corn maze 16 years ago. It has become the second longest run corn maze in the world.
Agri-tourism is now big business for rural communities outside of Rochester, especially in the fall with corn mazes, haunted hayrides and other outdoor attractions.
For the owners of Long Acre this evolution has helped the family keep the farm all while entertaining the masses.
Long Acre's Preview weekend kicks off Friday August 23 and runs through Sunday.
