The Rochester Police Department says three men were shot in a car late Saturday night on the city's southwest side.
Police tell News10NBC officers responded to the area of Gardiner Avenue and Chili Avenue around midnight to investigate a report of shots fired.
Officials say when police got to the scene they found all three victims with gunshot wounds.
According to police a 20-year-old Rochester man suffered a serious gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is in serious condition.
Police say the other victims, a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old, both city residents, suffered minor gunshot wounds to the lower body. Both were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say there are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
Investigators say they don't believe the shooting is related to the killing several hours earlier of a 28-year-old man who was shot while sitting in a car a couple of miles away on Elba Street.
