Friends and family gathered Tuesday night to remember a man police say died after he was shot over the weekend.
Police say Denzel Antonio Curry, 20, and the other two men were found shot in a car Saturday night on Gardiner Avenue. News10NBC learned Tuesday morning Curry passed away from his injuries.
Tuesday night Curry's family and friends gathered at a place near where he lived. His family says he was respected by his peers and a good kid. They are urging anyone who may have information about this shooting to come forward.
“Somebody out there knows something. If you don't want to talk to the police, call someone. Get something out there. This has got to stop. It's just too much,” said Garfield Jones, Curry's stepfather.
The other two men found the car with Curry are expected to survive.
