A former Monroe County Sheriff's Office employee, who is facing criminal charges, was in court Wednesday morning.
John Cheer, 52 of Fairport, was arraigned in Rochester City Court at 9 a.m.
Cheer was arrested after an internal investigation and charged with falsifying business records, a felony and official misconduct.
