The cars are unloaded, the boxes are unpacked and the families have said goodbye.
Saturday was move-in day at Saint John Fisher College.
More than 525 freshmen are getting ready to start their college careers on Tuesday and many of them spent the day moving into their residence halls and getting to know the people they'll be spending the next few months with.
“Move-in day was very exciting. I got to meet my roommates for the first time and I got everything all set up. I think we're ready to go,” said Joanna McCarthy, freshman.
This weekend is also orientation weekend. Saturday morning students attended their matriculation ceremony where the school's president welcomed the students and their families to the college.
