Two people charged with selling prescription pills in Orleans Co.

Two people in Orleans County are facing drug charges following a six month police investigation.
Jackie Sponaugle Junior, 22, and Gale Morehouse, 51, were arrested as a result of an investigation by the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force and the Medina Police Department. Officials say Sponaugle and Morehouse were involved in the sale and distribution of prescription narcotic pills.
Sponaugle Jr. is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal sale of controlled substance near school grounds and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Morehouse was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both suspects were arraigned in the Shelby Town Court and taken to Orleans County Jail. Sponaugle will return to Shelby Town Court later this week.
