Longer school days are the topic of this week's Dixon Schwabl Research Poll.
Seventy-eight percent of people say they have heard of the proposal with 21% saying they hadn't. As for people in favor of the changes, 62% said they're okay with the longer school days.
One respondent says, "Education is very important. If longer days give a better education, then I'm in favor."
Another person states that the changes will allow more flexibility in lesson planning and break times, more time for asking questions and integrating knowledge.
Another comment states, "Hopefully, this will keep the kids busy enough to keep them out of trouble. The extra time should be there to help the kids that need the extra help."
