A 37-year-old Canandaigua man is facing charges after two separate domestic incidents.
Canandaigua Police tell News10NBC on Tuesday, Jonathon Keeling threatened to kill a woman with a knife after physically restraining her on the ground while holding a knife to her throat. On Thursday, investigators say Keeling threatened the same woman with a sledge hammer by holding it against her head while making verbal threats to kill her.
Police say the woman escaped and locked herself in a room and called 911. According to police, Keeling followed her and punched the door.
Police say the woman suffered minor injuries as a result of the two incidents and refused treatment.
Keeling is charged with two counts of menacing, unlawful imprisonment, criminal mischief, harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana. He is being held in the Ontario County Jail in lieu of bail.
