It's Week Two of the high school football season and Section V's best welcomes the state's best to Rochester.
Aquinas Football schedule features Ursline High School out of Ohio, whose quarterback is committed to Michigan State. That challenge will come in Week Three. But Friday night's matchup is the biggest treat. Number one in the state Canisius comes to Rochester riding a 12 game winning streak.
Crusaders running back Qadree Ollison gave his verbal to Pittsburgh on Monday. He torched McQuaid for 195 yards and four touchdowns last week. He's not the only stud Canisius has. Six foot six wide receiver Tyrone Wheatley Jr, son of Bills running back coach Tyrone Wheatley, is also a handful to stop.
But Aquinas has some serious talent as well. Sophomore quarterback Jake Zembic is coming into his own and running back Donato Clemete had two touchdowns against Bishop Timeon in week one. He wants revenge to last year's 35 to 7 lost to Canisius.
