A man is charged with murder of his brother after deputies say they found his brother stabbed to death.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office tells News10NBC that 28-year-old Ahmad Jawed Mohammad-Askar is charged with second degree murder.
Investigators say Mohammad-Askar stabbed his brother, Mohamed Ghulam, inside the Thalia of India restaurant in Henrietta just after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning. Ghulam was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where deputies say he was pronounced dead.
Deputies say they found Mohammad-Askar covered in blood near the scene. He was arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and is being held without bail.
Officials say he will return to court next Monday. At this point, it is not known what might have led up to the stabbing.
