The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired partnered up with Goodwill of the Finger Lakes to open a newly expanded campus on South Clinton Avenue in the South Wedge neighborhood.
The new facility allows ABVI to provide more support to a growing population of individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
Gidget Hopf, ABVI President and CEO, said, "The people we serve need and deserve a world class facility. They need to know that they're coming to a center of excellence. They're coming to a place where they have state of the art equipment, facilities, experts on staff."
ABVI and Goodwill started this project in 2009 with the opening of its LEED certified contact center.
