A big discovery for some undersea explorers from our area. Three men say they've found the sunken wreckage of a Canadian schooner that sank in Lake Ontario more than a century ago.

Two of the men are from the Rochester area; Jim Kennard, of Fairport, and Roger Pawlowski, of Gates. They say they found the wreckage of the "Ocean Wave" off Oswego.

That ship had been hauling lumber from Ontario, Canada to Oswego when it went down during a storm back in 1890.
