The weather wasn't ideal, but the University of Rochester and RIT soccer teams braved the elements Saturday afternoon for a good cause.
The second annual Hillside Community Shield took place at Sahlen's Stadium.
There was no shortage of excitement Saturday despite the rain that continued to fall throughout the night.
The rivalry between these two schools dates back to the 1970's, but last year was the first time they have played for a good cause. All of the money raised will go to benefit the youth and families of the Hillside Community.
It's a great cause in a great venue with four great teams going head to head. The women's game ended in an overtime tie. The men also went into overtime, but neither team could score. The game ended in a 1-1 tie.
