Buffalo Bills starting defensive end Alex Carrington is expected to miss the season with a torn left quadriceps.
Cornerback Leodis McKelvin is iffy to play against Baltimore on Sunday because of a pulled right hamstring. As for the Bills' other injured players, defensive linemen Mario Williams (left ankle) and Marcell Dareus (right ankle), and running back C.J. Spiller (right quadriceps) should be ready to play.
Coach Doug Marrone provided the update Monday, a day after all five players were hurt in a 27-20 loss at the New York Jets.
Marrone said Carrington's injury is anticipated to be season-ending. The fourth-year player was scheduled to have surgery on Monday.
McKelvin's injury is worrisome because the Bills (1-2) are already down two cornerbacks, including starter Stephon Gilmore.
