Two men have been arrested in connection with a police investigation that happened on Columbia Avenue and Day Place on Saturday morning.
Police were called to the area of Columbia Avenue and Day Place for the report of a man with a shotgun and a man with a handgun pointing their guns at each other.
Police say the man with the shotgun, 43-year-old Leonard Fincher, of Rochester, was taken into custody as soon as officers arrived on scene. Fincher told police that the other man, 26-year-old Donovan Conner, of Rochester, approached him with a handgun and began arguing about loud music. Police say Fincher went inside and got his shotgun and the two pointed their guns at each other. Police say shots were fired. Investigators say Conner then went inside a home with the gun and refused to come out and the incident turned into a standoff.
Conner left the home a few hours later and was taken into custody.
Fincher is charged with criminal possession of weapon. Conner is charged with menacing.
