A former Brockport mayor, who was expected to be back in court Tuesday, won't appear in court now until next month.
Connie Castaneda was scheduled to be sentenced at 5 p.m., but Ogden Town Court tells News10NBC that the sentencing has been adjourned for this evening and has been rescheduled to October 22 at 5:00 p.m.
Castaneda faces up to a year in prison. Earlier this year, she was found guilty of violating four village codes and one state property code. Officials say Castaneda illegally rented rooms in her home to college students. Criminal charges were dropped in June.
