The University of Buffalo student found dead inside an off-campus house was a recent graduate of Greece Athena High School.
Greece School officials say the student was 18-year-old Nicholas Arieno. Arieno was a 2013 graduate of Greece Athena High School.
His body was found in the off-campus home on Sunday. An autopsy is pending, but police don't believe foul play was involved.
Statement that Greece Athena Principal Jason Gianotti on the death of Nicholas Arieno:
"Athena students were notified of Nick's death today and the school had a moment of silence in his memory this morning. Extra counselors are on site today. Nick was a wonderful student who was actively involved. Most notably, he and another student started a business through the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) last year that won honors.
"As a school community we are taking time to grieve and remember Nick," Gianotti said. "He was a wonderful student and a very active member of our school community."
