Ben and Jerry's co-founder to speak at GCC

Ice Cream entrepreneur Jerry Greenfield will speak on Wednesday in Batavia at Genesee Community College in the Stuart Steiner Theater from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Greenfield, co-founder of Ben and Jerry's, will speak about "Building the Ice Cream Empire." He is the headliner of the college's 2013 Wolcott J. Humphrey III Symposium on Leadership and Community Life.
Greenfield and friend Ben Cohen opened the first Ben and Jerry's scoop shop in Burlington, Vermont in 1978. Greenfield made the ice cream and Cohen was in charge of the sales counter.
