Their goal was to scout thousands of local students. On Wednesday more than 250 companies paid RIT a visit.
The college held it's Fall Career Fair.
Employers were there Wednesday looking to fill a number of full time and co-op positions. Some of the companies present included Apple, Facebook, Google and Microsoft.
News10NBC spoke with one finance student who says career fairs like these are a great benefit for students.
“I've actually had an internship experience through a career fair just like this one last year. So I'm optimistic I'll get something out of this one as well,” said Sean Powell, RIT senior.
The fair wrapped up at 4 p.m. Wednesday. News10NBC is told nearly 3-thousand students and alumni attended.
