An Attica high school football player has been released from the hospital after being injured during a football game Friday night.
Our affiliate in Buffalo, WGRZ, says the player had to be taken by Mercy Flight to the hospital after getting hurt in the game at Alexander High School. News10NBC is told the player was unconscious when paramedics arrived.
News10NBC has learned the player was released Saturday evening.
The player's name has not been released, and there are no details about how he was injured.
This comes just two weeks after Fredonia-area player, Damon Janes, was hurt in a play during a game. Janes died at the hospital a few days later.
