The Rochester Police Department says an argument led to a shooting on the city's west side.
Officers say that around 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning on Lyell Avenue near Child Street a 29-year-old city man was involved in an argument with another male. At some point the argument escalated and the victim was shot once in his lower body.
Police say the victim suffered minor injuries and refused to be taken to the hospital. He was treated at the scene by Rural/Metro.
