A Rochester man has been convicted in a double shooting and murder from may of last year.
Wednesday, a Monroe County jury found 26-year-old Charles Perkins guilty of murder and assault.
It happened on Saxton Street near Jay Street.
Police say the victims, Robert and Devon Vinson, passed by several men playing dice game as they walked through the neighborhood. Those men chased and began beating the two brothers.
Investigators say Perkins joined in the assault, eventually shooting the two men with a gun that was dropped by another man involved in the fight. Robert Vinson died at the scene, his brother Devon survived, but suffered permanent injuries.
Perkins faces 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on October 31st before judge Victoria Argento.
