It's one of Rochester's favorite organizations and Thursday night the Rochester Broadway Theatre League celebrated its 30th season.
Officials say that over the course of 30 years, the RBTL has had over 300 shows, including a host of classic plays and musicals. With shows ranging from the widely acclaimed Les Miserable to classic musicals like the Music Man to innovative dance based performances like The Lion King.
News10NBC spoke with officials about how the league has changed over the past 30 years.
"We started off many years ago bringing one performance, two performances," says RBTL presenter Albert Nocciolino. "Now, after all these years, 300 shows, 3,000 performances and we just continued to grow every year. Last year was the single best year we ever had after 29 years."
The 30th season will starts next Tuesday with Ghost the Musical. You can find more information on the RBTL and tickets information by clicking here.
