Rochester Police say a 31-year-old man was killed after he was hit by a car while crossing Alexander Street early Sunday morning.
Officers say that crash happened around 3:13 a.m. just north of the Monroe Avenue intersection. News10NBC is told that the man was crossing Alexander Street when he was hit by the car. Officers also say the car came to a rest on top of the man.
At this time, police say the driver of the car has not been charged and they say alcohol wasn't a factor.
The investigation is still on-going and police are looking into the possibility that another vehicle was involved.
