Two Wayne County teens are facing charges after deputies say they robbed a liquor store in the middle of the night.
Eighteen-year-old Darius Hoyt, along with 16-year-old Messias Washington are charged with burglary, petit larceny and criminal mischief. Hoyt is also facing a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Sheriff's Deputies tell News10NBC the pair smashed the front door of the mahogany ridge liquor store on Columbia Street in Clyde on Monday morning.
Deputies say by the time they arrived, the suspects were gone.
A witness was able to give a good description, and Deputies were able to then track down Hoyt and Washington. Officials say the two teens had some of the stolen items with them.
Both are now in the Wayne County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
