There's another new Chromebook hitting the market today, this one made by Acer.
The C720 Chromebook promises longer battery life, a slimmer, sleeker design - and an anti-glare display. Acer says the Chromebook is a bit zippier because its processors are based on the Haswell micro-architecture. It also weighs about a-third less than the two generations that came before it. It also boasts of a quicker boot time - about seven seconds on average.
The new Acer device is available for pre-order now both at Amazon.com and BestBuy.com. The 4GB model retails for $249.99.
