It's a move across party lines for the Henrietta Town Supervisor.
Michael Yudelson announced Friday that he is making the switch in party affiliations from republican to democratic. Yudelson says "irreconcilable differences" with GOP extremists were what led to his decision.
Yudelson was nominated by Henrietta republicans for another term as supervisor, but lost in a primary last month to Henrietta Town Councilmember Jack Moore.
Yudelson is also endorsed by the conservative and independence parties. He says he's "looking forward to a vigorous campaign."
