Orange juice is getting squeezed out of breakfast.
The Wall Street Journal reports Americans have bought less orange juice this year than at any time since 1998. That’s when Florida’s Department of Citrus started tracking sales.
The decline is attributed to higher costs and more juice alternatives.
The price of a gallon of orange juice has jumped more than $1.50 over the last decade, according to the paper.
