The ESL Charitable Foundation donated nearly $13,000 to the Urban League of Rochester and the Rochester City School District on Friday. The money will go towards the youth intervention program at Charlotte High School. The initiative helps students improve their grades and attendance.
Superintendent Bolgen Vargas said, “Our students have the potential to do anything that they set their minds to and can achieve anything if we give them support.”
The Urban League of Rochester has been working with the Rochester City School District for nearly 50 years.
