A secretary at Webster Schroeder High School has been arrested and charged with stealing money intended for the school district.
Karen Allen, 55, of Webster, is charged with grand larceny, falsifying business records and criminal possession of a forged instrument. She is a secretary at Webster Schroeder High School.
Webster Police say the Webster School District contacted them after discovering several discrepancies in record keeping at Webster Schroeder High School. Police say Allen took checks worth $9,200 from the mail that were intended for the school district. Police say Allen deposited the money into personal accounts and falsified business documents.
Allen was arraigned Friday. She is due back in court on October 29.
