The woman accused of supplying the guns used in the Christmas Eve ambush in West Webster is expected to be back in state Supreme Court Monday.
News10NBC will be tracking the continuation of a hearing about what evidence jurors will be allowed to hear at trial.
Dawn Nguyen’s attorney said last week, the shooter – William Spengler – left a note that would prove Nguyen's innocence. That three-page note hasn't been released to the public but Nguyen's lawyer says Spengler gave Nguyen mother $1,000 to buy the guns. The attorney also says that because the mother didn't want a paper trail to her, she convinced Dawn to buy the guns, saying they would be a gift for the mother's boyfriend and son.
Nguyen's lawyer argues that Dawn never knew they would end up in William Spengler’s hands.
