The city will host two open houses to provide the community to view and comment on the preliminary design alternatives for the Inner Loop East Transformation Project.
The open houses will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 6 in the Manhattan Square Lodge at Manhattan Square Park on Court St.
The Inner Loop East Project involves the removal of a roughly two-third mile section of the Inner Loop between Broadway and Charlotte Street. The project schedule calls for preliminary engineering and design work to be completed by January 2014 and final design to be completed by June 2014 with construction beginning as soon as fall 2014.
Anyone who is unable to attend the open houses may submit comments to Erik Frisch, City Transportation Specialist at email@example.com prior to November 15, 2013.
