First, Electromark in Wolcott, Wayne County is closing its doors. The Milwaukee based company makes signs. According to the Wayne County Times, losing the company will also mean the loss of 100 manufacturing jobs. Those positions are heading to Mexico. But News10NBC is told some employees will be able to find jobs in other areas of the U.S.
A gun making company in Chili is moving its headquarters to South Carolina. American Tactical Imports is moving to the Summerville area next month. The move will take 100 jobs from our area. News10NBC is still trying to find out if the move is a result of the recently passed SAFE Act.
