One local business in Palmyra is reopening after being destroyed by a fire nearly six months ago.
Back in May, a huge fire destroyed apartments and business on Main Street in Palmyra. On Tuesday, Mark's Pizzeria reopened its doors to customers.
Mark Crane, owner of Mark's Pizzeria, said it was so important to get back into the building where his business all began.
Crane said, "It was very important to build back here because this is where I started 31 years ago, so I've got a lot of memories here. I got married here and met my wife here. Just a lot of memories in this building."
One woman has been charged in connection with the fire. Investigators say Christina Nicklaw lit a pile of sheets on fire in her bedroom in attempt to take her own life. The fire was put out and Nicklaw taken to the hospital. But police think the fire re-ignited hours later, spreading to area businesses.
