Friday's wind storm knocked down trees and power lines leaving thousands without electricity. But crews have been able to restore power for a vast majority of customers over the past 24 hours.
As of 6:46 p.m. Saturday, about 539 customers in Monroe County are still without power. At the peak of outages, more than 28,000 customers were affected.
Power for most of those customers is expected to be restored by Saturday night.
