Two Canandaigua men facing drug charges

Two men are facing charges after police say they were injecting themselves with drugs inside a Canandaigua business.

Police tell News10NBC an officer conducting property checks in the downtown Canandaigua area around 1 a.m. Monday saw 27-year-old Joshua Borrelli and 30-year-old Joseph Digiulio inside Video Planet Retro Gaming. Investigators say both men were injecting themselves with Tramadol and Suboxone – both are controlled substances. According to police, Borrelli supplied Digiulio – the manager of Video Planet Retro Gaming – the drugs.

Borrelli is charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance and eight counts of possession of a hypodermic instrument. Digiulio is charged with criminal nuisance, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and eight counts of possession of a hypodermic instrument. Both men were arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail.
