No wearing hats during school was an exception for some on Wednesday. It's National Signing Day across the country.

Over at Irondequoit, it was all about the ladies. Five seniors signed their National Letters of Intent to play sports at the college level.

Jennifer Reininger signed to play lacrosse at Syracuse. Gina Bianchi will attend Lafayette and play lacrosse.  Julia Pavone will play lacrosse at Canisius. Nicole Freeley heads to Fordham to play volleyball and Meghan Vadala will play lacrosse at the University of Central Florida.

Gina Bianchi said, "Were out in the tournaments playing in the mud, playing in the snow and we still do play in the mud and the snow in the tournaments. But now being able to make everything official and I think it's all of our dreams to play at the college level and we are getting to do that together and it's really awesome seeing everyone's dreams come true at the same time."
