Wegmans is seeking a special use permit to expand its store in Perinton on Pittsford-Palmyra Road near Route 250.
The grocery store chain is looking to add 31,000-square feet to the east side of the store and remodel the existing store which would include a new façade and a clock tower.
The company says a public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, December 11 at 7 p.m. at the Perinton Town Hall. Wegmans says it will not give a timeline for completion as it needs additional municipal approvals for the project to go forward.
The Perinton store opened in 1967.
