Were you one of those people who participated in Cyber Monday at work? So far millions across the country spent a portion of the day shopping from their computers and we found out some local employers support it.
News10NBC is told employees at Dixon Schwabl, a marketing firm, were allowed to shop online for an hour and half today.
Managers we spoke with today say it helps to build morale. Karen Sims said, “We place a lot of trust in our employees, we value that. We like for our employees to trust us and we trust them in turn to really make the right decisions but we also want to stay ahead of the trends of advertising. It's a good opportunity for our employees to go online look at whatever the latest trends are on Cyber Monday.”
Experts predict this year's online sales will beat out last year.
