A Canandaigua woman was airlifted to Strong Hospital after being hit while crossing the street.
Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies say Maryann Taddonio suffered serious injuries to her head and spine. She's is in guarded condition as of Tuesday morning.
Deputies say it happened Monday around 6:30 p.m. on Route 364 in Canandaigua. News10NBC is told Taddonio was crossing the street at an area without a crosswalk and was hit by a Ford Windstar and thrown over the hood.
The driver of that van, Edwin Nemitz Jr., and two passengers ages 13 and 6 were all wearing seat belts, and weren't injured.
Route 364 was closed for two hours Monday night as Canandaigua fire and police accident reconstruction crews investigated.
