A Rochester man is waking up in state prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to trying to lure a girl to Syracuse to film sex acts.
Jason Frank, 27, was charged with attempted dissemination of indecent material to a minor and attempted endangering the welfare of a child. He was sentenced in federal court Monday to 15 years in prison, 10 years supervised release and registration as a sex offender.
Investigators say Frank was arrested in April. Police say Frank had been communicating since February with a person he thought was a 12-year-old girl. That person was in fact an undercover State Trooper.
Police say when they arrested Frank in April, he had a digital camera with child pornography on it.
