Hospital officials say Rochester's Deputy Fire Chief Marty McMillan is now in satisfactory condition. He was hospitalized with a broken back after police say his SUV was hit by a truck driven by a man officers were chasing.

Investigators say 48-year-old Charles Domicello robbed several stores in Macedon and led police on chase last Friday. The chase ended when police say Domicello crashed into McMillan's SUV on Main Street in Rochester.

Domicello is charged with assault and fleeing a police officer. Tow other women in the truck are also facing charges.
