It’s a chance to give those who fight for our freedom a little taste of home this holiday season.

Stokoe Farms helped pack up 60 Christmas trees, which will go to military bases all around the world. 18 American Legion posts and others helped donate the trees which will go to places like Afghanistan and Kuwait, to help make the holidays a little brighter for troops.

Suzanne Stokoe, of Stokoe Farms said, "Just a little bit of home, a little brightness to remind them that we are thinking about them and appreciate the service they're doing for us."

Handmade ornaments, cards and candy from local students and seniors will be shipped along with those trees.
