A dozen students were taken to the hospital Monday morning after a possible air quality issue. According to our affiliate WETM, the Hornell Fire Department was called to Hornell High School for a report of a student passed out in a classroom.
We're told 12 students total were taken to the hospital as a precaution and a shelter in place order was issued for the school.
According to the Hornell fire chief, no higher levels of dangerous gasses were found and everything is now back to normal at that school.
