It's a debate going on in the town of Pittsford right now. Should the town impose restrictions on how recreational vehicles are stored on people's property?
Pittsford residents had the chance to share their thoughts with the Pittsford Town Board Tuesday night.
Officials say there are two camps. The first is people who want restrictions on keeping RV's and trailers on a person's property. The second is property owners who feel they have rights in what they can or cannot put on their property.
“The town board feels given the nature of complaints over the past several years that the issue will never be resolved among disagreeing parties, so we have to step in and find something that's fair and balanced for the entire community,” said Matthew O'Connor, town council member.
No decision was made Tuesday night. O'Connor said the timetable, for one, depended on the amount of comments they received Tuesday night. He says the board wants as much feedback as possible.
