Residents in the Churchville-Chili School District approved a more than $8 million Capital Improvement Project by a vote of 192 to 52.
The Phase IV project will address safety and accessibility needs at the Fairbanks Road Elementary School and the Churchville-Chili Middle School.
The project will not impact taxes. The district's current state aid rate would yield approximately 88% of every dollar spent on the project. Through saving by the district, $1,790,000 of the project’s estimated $8,860,000 will be funded utilizing the capital reserve fund and $7,070,000 generated from state aid.
Phase IV Project is expected to be completed by fall of 2018.
