The New York village that bills itself as the inspiration for fictional Bedford Falls in "It's A Wonderful Life" is celebrating the Christmas film classic's 67th anniversary with an event at Academy Square.
The event features Karolyn Grimes, the actress who played George Bailey's daughter Zu-Zu in the original film.
The year's event is drawing a lot of buzz. Grimes is slated to star in a possible sequel to the classic film. Paramount Studios owns the rights to the original and executives have said they won't sell them to producers.
Tonight’s event starts at 6 p.m.
