A 55-year-old Rochester man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of his nephew.

The District Attorney’s Office says Vinh Dac Pham and his nephew, 33-year-old Tai Viet Ho, were engaged in ongoing dispute involving Ho’s eight-year-old son. On October 6, 2012, Pham and Ho arranged to meet near the intersection of South Avenue and Alexander Street for Ho to pick up his son after spending the day with Pham. When Ho arrived, Pham shot him six times as his son looked on. Pham turned himself into police hours later.

Pham faces up to 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on February 12, 2014.
